Missions Organizations

Mission Friends

It is critical to the future growth and health of the congregation that First Baptist Church of Mableton that children, from the earliest age possible, come to understand the importance of ministry through missions. In recognition of this, our church offers Mission Friends for ages 3 through kindergarten every Wednesday night from 7 to 8:15 pm. In Mission Friends preschoolers learn the importance of prayer and missions. In addition, they come to learn more about the world beyond their doorstep and people that God has sent out to tell others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Royal Ambassadors

Wednesday nights at 7 pm we offer Royal Ambassadors (RA's) for our boys. This missions education program provides monthly Saturday outings for boys and their parents as well.

Girls in Action

For the young ladies, we offer Girls in Action (GA's) on Wednesday nights at 7pm...missions education with an emphasis on the needs of today's elementary-aged girl.

Women's Missionary Union (WMU)

This auxiliary of the Southern Baptist Convention has a long history of support for the mission endeavors throughout the world. Through various guest speakers and special events this group of ladies continues to make an impact on ministry in "Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the corners of the World." In addition to coordinating our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and Annie Armstrong Easter Offering to benefit missionaries, the WMU meets monthly to discuss the mission needs of our community and church family and to provide prayer support to missionaries around the world.
